The Teflon<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0top includes a platinum wire\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basinc.com\/products\/ec\/vc2\">auxiliary electrode\u00a0<\/a>with gold connecting pin. This electrode can be removed and replaced if it becomes worn. BASi\u00ae\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basinc.com\/products\/ec\/ref\">reference<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.basinc.com\/products\/ec\/sve\">working<\/a>\u00a0electrodes, which must be ordered separately, fit into holes in the top. Both these electrodes are positioned in the vial by use of the O-rings which accompany them. The vial can hold 5-15\u00a0mL of sample solution.
