Typical yields are 6-10 \u03bc g for high copy number plasmid from 1 ml of cultured E. coli cells. The purified plasmid DNA is ready for use in restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, PCR, and sequencing reactions. More important, the EcoExtra&#x2122; series kits enable up to 80% reduction of plastic material waste compared to silica-column based kits.
